Change Log of Mars
Mars 3.01.999.10
- Tracking stationary tolerance (Mars Dashboard > Settings > Tracking stationary tolerance)
Adjust or turn off the threshold of stationary mode.
- Motion filter (Mars Dashboard > Settings > Motion Filter)
Filtering the noise of tracking data helps to minimize the image jitter while the camera is in extremely stable movement, such as on motorized slider, jib,… Once you found image jitter in slow movement, there are two modes we suggested:
- Manual movement: Using this mode when you slowly pan or move camera on tripod/slider by hand.
- Motor movement: Using this mode when you slowly pan or move camera on a motorized slider.
- Ground setup (Mars Dashboard > Ground Setup)
Align the tilt of virtual and physical ground.
- Multiple FreeD messaging (Mars Dashboard > Network > Protocol > FreeD)
Send each Rover’s FreeD data to separated IP address. Some virtual production software does not identify FreeD packages with camera ID. This feature would resolve connection issues in this case.
- Change the origin to the bottom of Rover
While performing a Recenter or Ground Setup, the origin point is set to the bottom of Rover. (In previous software, it was set to the bottom of VIVE Tracker.)
Mars 2.07.999.4
- Fixed timecode detection issue to avoid inconsistent issue in 29.97 DF/NDF.
- Optimized timecode sync performance.
- Lower lens encoder sampling rate to align with Genlock frequency.
- Ongoing improvement for stability and UI enhancement.
Mars 2.06.999.8
- Adding the much-needed European PAL users by adding 25 and 50 Hz support for Mars.
- Optimized tracking performance to prevent lost connection during long idle periods.
- Expanded compatibilities for more timecode generators.
