Here's how to recenter.

  1. In the Place Actors panel, go to the Basic tab, and then click and drag Actor into your viewport to add it to your scene.

  3. Set the Location of the Origin actor to 0.

  4. Pull the Origin up through the floor of the viewport so it's fully visible, not hidden under the virtual ground.

According to the center position of the Rover, if you set the recenter point at Bottom of Tracker, you should set the z value of the Origin actor 4.9cm higher than the ground plane of the virtual world to be able to match the ground in the real world.

  5. In the Outliner panel, drag the CineCameraActor under the Stage Center actor, you can see its Location and Rotation coordinates are now controlled by LivelinkComponentController, then select the CameraComponent of the CineCameraActor and set its Location and Rotation value to 0 to make sure there’s no additional offset between Livelink and CineCameraActor.

  6. Place another Rover on your set and connect it to Mars (Rover 2 slot in this tutorial) at the desired position of your stage.

Make sure the Blue Triangle Icon is pointing away from the camera.

  7. After it is connected to the Mars, tap Recenter button on Mars screen and then tap the Rover 2 icon to finish recentering.

  8. By pressing Recenter on Rover 2, it is telling the Mars to use it as the origin for all the Rovers (Rover 1, in this example). Live Link will pair Rover 2’s coordinate with its parent’s coordinate (Origin actor ****in this example). Now, CineCameraActor’s relative distance and orientation to the Origin actor will be the same as the two Rovers.
