Mars’ Rover uses the same pivot point as the VIVE Tracker 3.0 and optimizes the orientation for camera tracking. Since protocols define orientation differently, Mars’ Rover is orientation is optimized for each protocol.

for Mars firmware 2.07.999.4 or earlier version, the recenter point is set to the pivot point of the Rover you choose when you press the Recenter button on the Mars UI.
For Mars firmware version 3.01.999.10, the recenter point is set to the bottom of the Rover.
For Mars firmware version 3.02.999.11 or later, user can specify the recenter point to ****bottom of tracker, bottom of rover, or any corner of the rover during the recenter procedure. The pivot point of the Rover remains the same, it’s still at the bottom of VIVE Tracker.
