When you pan the camera, the virtual scene (virtual camera controlled by tracking data through Live Link) usually moves faster than video frames. In this tutorial, we will guide you on how to add a delay to Live Link and align it with the video source.

  1. In the field Time Correction of ViveLiveLinkPlugin, check the white box and add a delay in seconds. The buffer box of ViveLiveLinkPlugin in the Timing Diagram is prior to the baseline. It means the tracking arrives earlier.

  2. Place some virtual objects around your Stage Prop to help judge whether the virtual scene moves first. If adding too much delay to tracking, the camera footage would move first.

  3. Timed Data Monitor provides a visualized way to align the timing of sources. It is better to add a delay (in Time Correction) to have the buffer box cover the baseline in Timing Diagram.
